To understand why Self- funded Freedom was born, it helps to understand its founder.
Self- Funded Freedom's founder Jodi is a world traveler & freedom seeker with an ability to relate to people from all walks of life due to her myriad life experiences and world travels to approx. 68 countries to date as well as the decades spent working with clients from various backgrounds.
Having an adventurous as well as entrepreneurial spirit meant upon completing education in Whyalla, South Australia she qualified as an aesthetician & opened her first business in Adelaide before age 20. and first property before age 30.
A few years later wanderlust beckoned, and she spent the following 2 years abroad exploring the USA, Eastern & Western Europe, Northern Africa, and the Middle East.
Not so much a tourist as a true traveler, Jodi immersed herself in the different cultures of each country by spending time with the locals, such as Bedouins in the Sahara Desert, children in various orphanages, or the Austrians in the snowy Alps.
Back in Australia, she soon became a successful real estate agent in Melbourne, Victoria delivering exceptional results for her clients.
This eventually led to her managing the state of Victoria for a multinational organization specializing in investment properties.
Her skill in understanding the client's needs led Jodi to become the top performer in Australia.
In between, there was also a restaurant in St Kilda, Melbourne before eventually moving to QLD circa 2002.
Beside Self -Funded Freedom, Jodi's travel within Australia & abroad remains a passion as does scuba diving and quality time with loved ones.
Another big passion of hers is helping others live a life of freedom as she does.
Because we are not taught this in school most Aussies remain unaware of how surprisingly affordable it can be to grow wealth & create a passive income.
Self-Funded Freedom was born of a desire to increase this awareness by firstly empowering our clients with the required knowledge & then assisting every step of the way with implementation.
We have one life to live and must plan financially for the future so that we can enjoy it and at the same time be able to enjoy life right now as well.
Within her own family, Jodi has seen the supreme benefits of forward planning as well as the devastating and debilitating effects the absence of it can have emotionally, mentally, and ultimately physically on those left feeling trapped and vulnerable due to lack of funds in retirement.
